NEWS RELEASE

2015
18th Annual High School Mathematical Modeling Contest

The Consortium for Mathematics and its Applications (COMAP) is pleased to announce the results of the Eighteenth Annual High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling (HiMCM). A total of 719 teams, with up to 4 students each, from 144 schools, competed. All teams worked at their own schools during a designated 36-hour period between October 30th and November 16th, 2015. Each high school team chose from two modeling problems offered and then constructed their solutions.
